Job Summary:
Bureau Veritas Philippines is seeking a results-driven Business Analyst with strong expertise in cost control, costing methodologies, and profitability analysis. This role will support strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights into financial performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization across business units.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Control & Analysis

Monitor and analyze operational and project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance.

Develop and maintain cost models for various service lines (e.g., testing, inspection, certification).

Profitability & Financial Insights
-
Conduct profitability analysis by service, client, and region to support pricing strategies and business development.

Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives or service offerings.

Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports with variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

Support scenario planning and financial modeling to guide strategic planning.

Process Improvement
-
Partner with operations and finance teams to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy.

Implement tools and dashboards for real-time financial monitoring and decision support.

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, cost control, or financial planning—preferably in a service-oriented or multinational environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry is a plus.
