We are looking for a high-performing Business development Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets while keeping our company competitive and innovative in the mining sector. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify Key Accounts and Projects and develop detailed action plans for Key Accounts Management
  • Establish appropriate sales and Go-To Market strategies
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process; lead generation; appointment setting; presentation of company services – preparation of proposal, follow-up and negotiation; obtaining the contract and handover to Operations Team
  • Analyze the competition and the demand-supply conditions of the market. Position BV in such a way that BV shall attain substantial market share and ensure the competitive edge of BV against the competition
  • Review, evaluate and recommend pricing points and structure, pricing scheme and strategies for approval by top management and ensure that the pricing rates, scheme and strategies are attuned to market conditions
  • Ensure the sufficiency and adequacy of standard marketing documents such commercial proposals, sales contracts, and other appropriate documents. These documents should likewise include but are not limited to marketing materials, collateral and other paraphernalia deemed necessary for marketing the services
  • Responsible for marketing actions (events, fair, workshops)
  • Put in place a highly efficient market information and industry intelligence system
  • Identify business opportunities including following-up on new or on-going projects.
  • Responsible for reporting all opportunities, proposals, and contract on database
  • Regular visits to potential and existing clients
  • Develop technical and commercial proposal with support of technical team
  • Liaison with other countries, technical centers and related business lines to get necessary support
  • Develop relations with relevant authorities to identify and obtain new and existing legislation and regulation, which may lead to develop each business lines.
  • Ensure good level of satisfaction for clients
  • Preparation of commercial performance report for top management
  • Coordinate with the Company financial accounting on the billing statements to Clients on a timely basis.
  • Ensure the timely and aggressive collections of sales and consultancy fees from clients.
  • Coordinate opportunities with other business lines.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in any disciplines with a minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in related field
  • Strong business sense, commercial mindset and industry expertise in facility management 
  • Successful previous experience of winning contracts in the facility management industry / construction activities 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Can work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in office software (Lotus Note, MS office, PowerPoint, MS project management.
  • Sales-oriented and self-motivated
