Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Inspection and Oversight: Conduct thorough inspections of all low voltage electrical work on the Waste-to-Energy Power Project.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and standards.
  • Site Inspections and Reporting: Regularly inspect the site and prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and address any low voltage electrical installation issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Safety Compliance: Prioritize safety and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Material and Method Review: Review and approve low voltage electrical materials and methods to maintain quality standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector in the energy sector, with a strong preference for experience in coal-fired or biomass power plant construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of low voltage electrical systems, codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in inspection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Professional Engineer, Certified Inspector) are advantageous.
