About the Role:
As a Wind Farm Project Engineer and Project Controller at Bureau Veritas Philippines, you will support and facilitate the development and execution of wind energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and renewable energy technologies. You will work closely with subject matter experts to identify opportunities, assess feasibility, develop project plans, and drive successful implementation of wind farm projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align the operational group with Bureau Veritas' expectations regarding culture, systems, processes, and KPIs. Drive improvements in client satisfaction and deliver projects to the satisfaction of both the client and Bureau Veritas.
- Support the development and implementation of document control policies and procedures. Work with Project Managers and QA/QC Engineers to implement an electronic data management system to facilitate project communications.
- Maintain electronic files for all project documents. File and store hard copies of documents in accordance with program policies and procedures. Implement a document storage system with user-friendly search capabilities.
- Ensure timely reporting of project progress and status to stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the project teams as needed, including serving as the Authorized Petty Cash Custodian.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Information Management
- 5-7 years of Document Control and Project Control experience in an Engineering environment, preferably in Wind or Solar projects
- Experience using one or more Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as SharePoint, Autodesk, ProjectWise, Aconex, or TeamBinder
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to support multiple project assignments and prioritize tasks adeptly to meet deadlines
- Willingness to be assigned full-time on-site and to relocate as needed
