Responsibilities:
- Responsible for organizing and monitoring the day-to-day activities of the Industry inspection team assigned.
- Carry out review and approval of inspection reports, including deliverables from subcontractors and other third parties for activities assigned.
- Assists in the continuous improvement and maintenance of the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the Industry business.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Industry inspection team, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between operations, support and business functions.
- Provide inputs in the long-term planning of the Industry team, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence of the inspection team to the operations budget.
- Development of individual training program of inspectors, including budget planning
- Monitoring the progress, delivery, and proper invoicing of inspection jobs.
- Project management – ensure project completion within time and budget, technical controls, quality of deliverables and mitigation of risks
- Supervision and monitoring of inspectors assigned under the Senior Inspector role
- Whenever necessary, carry out inspections assigned and ensure proper alignment with relevant and appropriately agreed standards and procedures.
Qualification:
- At least 10 years of experience as a certified inspector in the Oil & Gas or related sectors.
- At least a bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Office applications (word, excel, powerpoint)
- Strong background and work experience in inspection
- Excellence communication skills both verbal and written
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
