Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Fire Life Safety (FLS) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a registered engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Sanitary Engineering with extensive experience in fire protection design, fire suppression systems, building safety compliance, and risk assessment. This role requires a deep understanding of relevant codes and standards, including the Philippine Fire Code (RA 9154), National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096), and international standards such as NFPA and IBC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement fire protection and suppression systems for various building projects.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.
• Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure ongoing compliance with fire safety codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase to address fire safety concerns.
• Develop and deliver fire safety training programs for staff and contractors.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire safety technology and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Registered Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Sanitary Engineering).
• Relevant certifications and training, such as COSH/BOSH, Basic and Advanced Fire Safety Training.
• Proven work experience in fire protection design, fire suppression systems, building safety compliance, or risk assessment.
• In-depth knowledge of the Philippine Fire Code (RA 9154), National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096), and international standards like NFPA and IBC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in fire safety or related fields.
• Experience with fire safety software and tools.
• Membership in professional fire safety organizations.
