We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Record Management: Maintain detailed payroll records and documentation
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits deductions and enrollments
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Reporting: Prepare payroll reports and tax filings
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • System Management: Utilize payroll software systems and maintain data integrity
  • Any additional related task advise by Manager

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Proficiency with payroll software systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of payroll tax regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Payroll certification (CPP, ACP)
  • Experience with multi-state payroll
  • Knowledge of HR information systems
