Job Summary:

As the QA/QC Inspector - Civil, you will be responsible for carrying out quality assurance and quality control inspections on behalf of our client, a Utilities Company, for their water and wastewater conveyance projects. You will review technical documents, monitor project progress, and ensure subcontractors adhere to the client's quality requirements, materials, timeline, and budgets. Your role will involve providing timely inspection reports, issuing non-conformity reports, and coordinating with the client representatives to address any immediate issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out QA/QC inspections of subcontractors and other third parties' projects on behalf of the client
• Review technical documents, project plans, and deliverables of the subcontractor
• Ensure adherence of the subcontractors to the minimum quality requirements, materials, timeline, and budgets
• Monitor the progress, delivery, and timetable of the works
• Provide inspection reports, issue non-conformity reports, and coordinate with client representatives on any immediate issues

Accountabilities:

• Provision of Inspection Reports in a timely manner for each inspection carried out
• Issuance of Non-Conformity Reports in a timely manner, including provision of flash reports for any urgent issues, to the client
• Presentation of Daily Time Records, signed by the on-site representatives and validated by the client representatives

Authority:

• Works under own initiative and seeks clarifications from the Team Lead, Industry Manager, and Operations Manager where necessary
• Delivers reliable reports to clients and maintains a high level of professionalism throughout the project duration

Education:

Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering

Computer:

Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
 

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in water and wastewater conveyance projects in a quality inspection role
