Overview: Join Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. 

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Secretary to support our New Airport Development Project team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure initiative while working in a dynamic, project-based environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage correspondence, scheduling, and documentation for project team
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain accurate minutes
  • Records Management: Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for project documents
  • Communication: Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external communications
  • Document Preparation: Prepare reports, presentations, and official correspondence
  • Calendar Management: Coordinate schedules for project leadership and stakeholders
  • Data Entry: Maintain accurate project databases and administrative records
  • Office Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day office functioning and resource management

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of secretarial or administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor and discretion with confidential information
  • Local residency in Dumaguete or willingness to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in project-based or construction environments
  • Knowledge of airport operations or infrastructure projects
  • Bilingual capabilities (English and local languages)
  • Experience with project management software
  • Administrative certification or training
