Overview: Join Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services.

 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior MEPF / QAQC Inspector to join our Hotel Project team. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety (MEPF) and structural systems installation phases.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Control (QAQC):

    • Conduct daily inspections of MEPF systems installations
    • Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
    • Document inspection findings and maintain comprehensive records
    • Prepare inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • MEPF Systems Oversight:

    • Inspect mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage)
    • Verify electrical installations and safety systems
    • Monitor fire safety systems installation and testing
    • Ensure proper coordination between trades
  • Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations
    • Conduct safety audits and promote site safety culture
    • Verify testing and commissioning procedures
    • Maintain HSE compliance documentation
  • Coordination & Communication:

    • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and project management
    • Attend site meetings and progress reviews
    • Provide technical guidance to site teams
    • Escalate critical issues promptly

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering

  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in QAQC inspection on hotel/hospitality projects

  • Certifications:

    • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or equivalent
    • OSHA / HSE certifications preferred
    • Knowledge of MEP systems and fire safety codes
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in inspection software and AutoCAD
    • Strong understanding of MEP drawings and specifications
    • Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and reporting abilities
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Problem-solving mindset
    • Leadership and team coordination

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with luxury/5-star hotel projects
  • Knowledge of international standards (IFC, NFPA, etc.)
  • Project management experience
  • BIM coordination experience
