Overview: Join Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a prestigious hotel development project. This is a key role responsible for managing all cost and commercial aspects of the construction project from inception through completion.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation & Budgeting
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for all project phases
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction period
- Prepare tender documents and bills of quantities (BoQ)

Commercial Management
- Manage contract negotiations and procurement processes
- Handle variations, claims, and change orders
- Prepare valuations and interim payment certificates
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Project Controls
- Track expenditures against budget allocations
- Identify cost variances and implement corrective measures
- Produce regular financial reports and forecasts
- Manage supplier and subcontractor payments

Stakeholder Liaison
- Collaborate with project management, architects, and engineers
- Communicate financial status to clients and stakeholders
- Maintain professional relationships with contractors
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in quantity surveying, preferably on hospitality/hotel projects
- Professional Credentials: RICS or equivalent professional membership preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cost estimation software
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Knowledge of BIM and project management tools
