Position Summary

 

As a TQR Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the technical excellence, quality assurance, and risk management of Bureau Veritas operations across all business units in the Philippines. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the company’s brand, client satisfaction, and long-term operational success.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Technical

  • Define and implement local service policies, including qualifications and subcontractor controls.
  • Promote and support the use of global and local technical documentation.
  • Identify and engage local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Drive the implementation of technical tools and best practices.

 

Quality

  • Ensure compliance with LTO (License to Operate) and SLA (Service Level Agreement) policies.
  • Develop and manage the local LTO portfolio.
  • Oversee internal audit programs and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support external audits and manage relationships with local accreditation bodies and authorities.
  • Conduct and complete Local Management Reviews.
  • Assist in closing non-conformities and root cause analyses.

 

Risk

  • Monitor and manage the contract review process.
  • Lead local Entity Committee (EC) activities and follow up on global EC recommendations.
  • Screen and assess new local services for risk and compliance.
  • Implement impartiality rules and manage complaints and appeals.

 

Key Interactions

  • Internal: QHSSE Manager, BU Managers, Legal and Risk Department, Compliance Office, HR Manager
  • External: Clients, Accreditation Bodies, Regulatory Authorities

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in internal audits, risk management, or compliance.
  • Certified Lead Auditor for QMS.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, quality management systems, and business operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ethical integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
