We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team for exciting Buildings & Infrastructure project in Pasig. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction activities related to the Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Sanitation (MEFPS) trades, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and tackle complex engineering challenges on-site.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Specialist with deep expertise in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) manufacturing or the garment industry, preferably with a background in operations or quality assurance. In this role, you will provide specialized technical support to audit teams, ensuring that audits are executed with precision, insight, and industry relevance. Your subject matter expertise will be instrumental in identifying technical risks, evaluating compliance, and enhancing audit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with audit teams to understand the scope, objectives, and technical requirements of each audit.
• Provide expert-level technical guidance during audit planning and execution, particularly in PPE or garment manufacturing contexts.
• Identify and assess technical risks, vulnerabilities, and control deficiencies.
• Contribute to the development of audit findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
• Support the communication of audit results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to PPE and garment production.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit methodologies, tools, and technical practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Quality Management).
• At least 6 months of experience within the last 3 years in the PPE manufacturing or garment industry.
• Hands-on experience in operations or quality assurance within the relevant sector.
• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Familiarity with national standards and regulations applicable to PPE or garment production.
• Solid understanding of audit principles, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with audit teams and stakeholders.
• Preferred: Formal training or certification in management systems auditing.
