Be part of a major railway development project delivering safe, reliable, and world‑class rolling stock systems compliant with international and Japanese railway standards. We are seeking highly experienced professionals to support independent assessment, verification, and audit activities for rolling stock systems.

1. Rolling Stock Japanese Expert (1 Position)

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
  (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or equivalent).

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience.
• At least 10 years of railway industry experience, with strong expertise in Rolling Stock (RS).
• Must hold a Japanese License Certification required for the assessment of Japanese railway systems
  (A legitimate national certification with a complete set of examinations and regulatory requirements).

Preferred Minimum Qualifications for MLIT Certification

• Professional Engineer, Japan
  (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering); OR
• Professional Railway Design Engineer (Vehicle Engineering).

Technical & Project Experience

• Demonstrated experience in Rolling Stock and related railway systems design verification and validation, including practical project management experience as a Japanese certified railway operator, evidenced by:
  • At least 3 years of operational experience, OR
  • Completion of at least two (2) Rolling Stock design V&V projects.
• Strong familiarity with JIS and MLIT implementation standards.

2. Rolling Stock Expert (2 Positions)

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
  (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of railway industry experience, with specialization in Rolling Stock systems.
• Must have served as Lead Assessor / Auditor for Rolling Stock in at least two (2) similar railway projects.
• Proven knowledge and hands‑on experience with CENELEC and IEC applicable railway standards.
