JOB TITLE: Scaffolding Inspector

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate, monitor, and oversee effective Scaffolding with additional rigging duties to support departmental activities and Develop

“fit for purpose” Scaffolding awareness training programs for all workforce and supervisors. Oversee all scaffolding activities

carried out by the scaffolding contractors. Ensuring safe practices at all times.

JOB KEY RESULTS AREAS/RESPONSIBILITIES

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide Scaffolding planning and onsite support to Field operations, Construction, Drilling and Work-Over groups through

best practices, procedures, regulations and standards.

- Provide technical expertise for development and implementation of scaffolding programs.

- Prepare daily and weekly reports on all scaffolding activities. Identifying and verifying all quantities used by contractor.

- Attend daily planning meeting to ensure all scaffolding requirements are being met.

- Monitor all scaffolding that has been erected in the field by contractors ensuring Scaff tag is being used and our Procedures

are being complied too.

- Provide technical expertise for development and implementation of Scaff tag system any other best practice training

programs.

- Carry out training in scaffolding awareness to allow all personnel, workforce, and supervision to know what good

scaffolding practices are and what to look out for on a day to day basis.

- Develop and recommend standards, guidelines and procedures for scaffolding activities for all department requirements.

- Perform inspection, auditing of contractor compliance to scaffolding regulations and standards.

- Participate in incident investigations.

- Participate in risk assessments.

- Participate in developing emergency response plans for scaffolding operations.

- When no scaffolding activities shall be required to carry out basic rigging inspections of cranes, and below the hook rigging

as a as a competent person. Giving full support to the rigging section

- Assist with administration of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/KEY INTERACTIONS

Work closely with the Production operations, Drilling, Work Over and Construction to design, plan, execute, audit safe and effective

scaffolding systems. Be a resource for HSE in investigations, peer assists, safety audits, risk assessments and safety awareness

programs. Work closely with training staff to develop training programs for workforce.

Attend daily meetings with all departmental supervision to assist with planning and scheduling of all lifting and rigging activities.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 10 years scaffolding experience.

- 03 years supervisory

- Risk management skills.

- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.

- Good Organizational skills.

- Experience with contractor performance management.

- Good team player.

- Good leadership skills.

- Knowledge of Behavior Based Safety.

- Good PC skills including MS Office.

- Experience in training of personnel from basic awareness to competent qualified scaffolder.

- Capable of supporting all Planning, Schedule and execution of all scaffolding operations
