The Procurement Manager is responsible for procurement planning, costing, negotiation, warranties, specifications and related supply chain and procurement management functions for several projects within our client. The individual will involve in various stages of pre-bid, pre-award, post-award and close-out process of procurement management.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  1. Responsible to be involved during various operations in procurement process:
  • Planning for procurement;
  • Preparing pre-qualification requirements for the selection of potential contractors;
  • Preparing and publishing bid documents, including but not limited to, clarifying the Client’s requirements, instructions to the bidder, evaluation criterias etc
  • preparing and responding for clarification which could be arise from the tenderers afterward.
  1. Responsible for evaluation of bids and recommendations for award of the contract; preparing, reviewing and approving Bid Evaluation Reports to submit to the clients for BOP packages; contract negotiation as well as contract management with succeed tenderers (based on form of FIDIC yellow book)
  2. Responsible to review, comment, provided technical consultation and participate in the meeting or contract negotiation with the supplier; provide report of contract negotiation to submit to the client
  3. Responsible for long-lead items procurement management.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • At least a degree holder with at least 10 years experience within a similar supply chain / procurement experience in Wind, Power or Oil & Gas environment.
  • Deep technical knowledge of EPC/ EPCM tendering process, with strong ability to translate detailed technical documentation and drawings into commercial item requirements for procurement.
  • Must be computer literate with good oral and written communication skills in English.
