Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct thorough quality audits and inspections across various stages of construction to ensure compliance with established quality standards and engineering specifications, focusing on electro-mechanical, civil/structural, and civil/sanitary network disciplines.
  • Implement QA/QC plans and procedures for water treatment projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
  • Oversee commissioning processes for treatment plants, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, addressing audit findings with project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, focusing on safety and environmental compliance in water treatment construction.

 

General Qualifications:

 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Completion of at least 80 hours of Inspection Training.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Quality Audit as a QA/QC Engineer.
  • Up-to-date Safety Training certifications (BOSH, COSH).

 

Specific Qualifications:

 

  • Experienced in construction and commissioning of Water and Used Water Treatment Plants, with at least 3 projects in this area.
  • Experienced in electro-mechanical installation projects for at least 3 process plants.
  • Experienced in water and used water pipelaying for a minimum of 3 years.
  • A certified Safety Practitioner is considered a significant advantage, with relevant safety officer training (SO3 minimum).
