Join a dynamic team: As part of the Marine Customer Center, you will act as the key interface between Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore clients and our internal teams.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the proper understanding, application, and verification of environmental regulations within the maritime industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating external communications with shipowners and fleet managers, and internal coordination with verification and support teams;
- Ensuring the quality and compliance of deliverables provided to clients;
- Assisting clients in understanding applicable regulatory requirements and using the tools necessary for verification;
- Developing and maintaining an extensive knowledge and understanding of curent and forthcoming environmental regulations applying to ship managers (IMO DCS & CII, EU MRV, Fuel-EU, etc…);
- Acting as a verifier for documents submitted by clients in accordance with these regulations ;
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal tools and processes related to environmental activities.
Your strengths for success:
- Master’s degree (engineering, environmental science, energy, or equivalent);
- Solid knowledge of regulations related to greenhouse gas emission reporting;
- Understanding of the maritime industry and its regulatory framework;
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, and organizational abilities;
- Ability to define, prioritize, and adjust objectives according to changing circumstances or urgent situations ;
- Capacity to quickly assimilate new regulations;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus, essential for working in an international and demanding environment.
