Join our team! We are looking for a Ship Surveyor in Marseille (France/13)

 

Join a dynamic team: Based at our Marseille Centre and integrated into a team of experts, you will be the technical reference point and lead technical expert on missions aimed at verifying ships' technical compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • New construction monitoring, classified and unclassified, and, where appropriate, participation in sea trials before delivery
  • Audits of marine equipment and materials at manufacturing premises

 

You will be required to make regular day trips, primarily within the PACA region. You will be provided with a company vehicle.

 

Your strengths for success:

  • Education and experience: With a background in naval construction or naval engineering, or as a former merchant marine officer, you possess knowledge in boilermaking/welding, propulsion and onboard systems, safety, electrical systems, and naval architecture.
  • Personal qualities: You demonstrate rigor, a strong team spirit, autonomy, as well as analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Language skills: Your proficiency in English allows you to communicate effectively with our clients, teams, and international network.
  • Technical skills: You are proficient with computer tools and have good writing and interpersonal skills.
