Position Title: Sample Administration Associate

Hours Worked: Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. 

Position Summary:

ATL is currently seeking a Sample Administration Associate to support our Milford, OH laboratory. This position will provide administrative support for the lab operations through processing incoming samples and producing the final data reports. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for day-to-day activities within the Sample Administration department. This includes, but is not limited to, logging in incoming samples to a computer database, ensuring proper chain of custody from receipt of sample through final release of testing results, following processes and provide input to meet changing/expanding business needs.
•    Data entry into multiple software programs to produce final, accurate, and on-time Reports of Analysis. Prepare and proofread reports.
•    Responsible for developing a cooperative and productive work environment with all individuals and departments.  Participate in interdepartmental meetings to ensure adequate and effective communication as well as desired levels of operational excellence across multiple departments within the organization. Comply with internal Quality and Safety standard operating procedures.
•    Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients. 
•    Following all laws related to safe driving.
•    Other duties as assigned. 

 


Skills & Proficiencies:
•    Strong interpersonal skills such as communication, relationship building, initiative, adaptability, positive attitude, and team building. 
•    Must understand principles of data entry and review and possess self-accountability for the delivery of first-time-right accuracy. 
•    Highly organized with focus on attention to detail. 
•    Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form 
•    Ability to be flexible and be sensitive to changing priorities. 
•    Basic to advanced understanding of Microsoft Office suite. 

Education and Experience:
•    High school diploma required 
•    1+ years of experience working in data entry or review is preferred. Additional experience in customer service is desired. 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.

Compensation Range: $17 - $18 an hour (e.g., the job posting is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, and actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as locations, education, experience, and skillset).
