Bureau Veritas is looking for a Project Manager
About the Role
As a Project Manager on our Customer Experience Team, you’ll support client accounts, coordinate laboratory project needs, and help ensure timely, accurate service delivery. This role is key to maintaining strong client relationships and resolving issues effectively.
What You Will Do
- Develop strong client relationships through exceptional customer service
- Act as the key liaison between clients, laboratory teams, and management to ensure satisfaction
- Coordinate daily service, maintenance, and administration of client accounts
- Respond to client inquiries (phone/email) and redirect communications as required
- Provide clients with technical support on sampling projects
- Offer consultation, recommendations, and data interpretation
- Remain current on the interpretation and application of environmental regulations
- Document and ensure closure of client complaints (CARS)
- Stay current with corrective action requests (CARs) and management of change (MOCs) in QSI/CRM systems
- Participate in business development activities, including new account tailoring and account reviews
- Work cross-functionally to coordinate related project requirements
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal laboratory departments
- Coordinate reports, data, billings, and client requests
- Assist with preparation of correspondence and related technical documentation
- Execute IT test plans, record results, and provide feedback
- Effectively track CET key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with accounting to resolve outstanding receivables
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Quality System standards
- Provide timely feedback to Bureau Veritas management
- Participate in cross-training to support CET team success
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree (or college diploma with relevant experience)
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, environmental services, laboratory operations, or related technical support roles
- Strong Customer Service (CS) and Project Management skills
- Knowledge of Environmental Lab Science and Environmental Regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Nice to Have
- Experience using QSI, CRM systems, MOC/CAR workflows
- Laboratory or regulated industry background
- Familiarity with Ontario/Canadian environmental legislation
- Additional compliance-related certifications
