As a Sample Login Technician, your responsibilities are:

  • Ensure all client orders are entered in a timely manner according to the CoC; process necessary paperwork and project management notification
  • SAIL approve jobs in priority sequence based on sample holding time, job due date and/or received date
  • Ensure appropriate test code and parameters are entered for every job, either by using a quote, profile or master test code list
  • Ensure accuracy of information for all in-house projects (including, but not limited to test codes, project references)
  • Proactively ensure overall satisfaction of client base including communication to Project Management / Supervisor as appropriate
  • Investigate and resolve outstanding issues/jobs through departmental collaboration
  • Work closely with Project Management staff to grow Bureau Veritas’ regional market share with existing and new clients
  • Use innovative and proactive methods to ensure core performance standards and business goals as measured by scorecards, coaching sessions and key performance indicators are achieved
  • Attend regular team meetings to share corporate and departmental information, and to communicate and share ideas
  • Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC, SOP's and external accreditation requirements
  • Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policy
  • Committed to working in a team environment demonstrating a positive approach
  • Demonstrates refined problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are met or exceeded
  • Maintain training records
  • Help out in other departments when required and take part in cross training
  • All other responsibilites as assigned

As a Sample Login Technician, the minimum requirments are:

  • University degree ore college diploma in sciences, chemistry and relatated environmental discipline and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a laboratory environment an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, LIMS)
  • Energetic personality that can work independently in a multi-tasking fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively interact with colleagues and provide coaching and mentoring when needed
  • Ability to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs
