Civil QC Inspector

Position: Civil QC Inspector

Location: Oman

Education Qualification: Diploma or bachelor’s degree holder in Civil Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience ( Tarmac road construction experience is mandatory).

Job Description

• Promote a Quality culture on the project, ensuring implementation of Civil best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems

• Lead the civil Inspection team.

• Review and provide inputs (E.g. Comments, Checklists, etc.) for all Civil QC related Procedures.

• Ensure the effective implementation of Project QCPs/ITPs related to Civil Discipline.

• Perform daily Inspection tasks in line with Site Quality Requirements and Quality Control Plans.

 • Lead or participate in investigations to resolve Civil quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring that they are effectively executed.

• Issue and expedite identified NCRs related to Civil activities.

• Report progress and feedback activity to Site QC manager.

 • Perform Surveillance of Civil Works.

• Participate in weekly mass TBT and Quality walkdowns.

• Ensure the Civil inspection Team have performed all necessary trainings (HSE & Quality) prior site work starting.

• Ensure Civil Feedback & Lesson Learned are cascade to all Inspectors within project and their Subcontractors.
