Sales Engineer

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (or equivalent experience

Competency: Fluent in both spoken and written English, Full knowledge of MS Word, Excel and power point presentations.

Minimum Experience Required: 3 to 5 years’ similar experience in Oil and Gas industry particular in NDT Services.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territory/accounts
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads
  • Conduct needs analysis with prospective and existing clients
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships

Technical Expertise

  • Provide technical guidance on NDT methods (UT, RT, PT, MT, ET, VT, etc.)
  • Assess client inspection requirements and recommend appropriate NDT solutions
  • Explain technical specifications, capabilities, and limitations of NDT services
  • Support pre-sales technical discussions and site assessments
  • Stay current with NDT standards, regulations, and industry best practices

Market & Industry Knowledge

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends
  • Research target industries and potential client segments
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory changes affecting NDT services
  • Contribute to marketing and business development strategies

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all client interactions and opportunities
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries
  • Document technical specifications and project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
