We are looking for an HR Business Partner for our Norwegian entity, to be based in our Oslo office.

Marine & Offshore division's activities are mainly focused on ship classification, certification of equipment and systems, as well as verification and inspections of offshore installations and equipment.

 

Mission:

You will be responsible for a broad range of HR operational support within our Business Lines in Norway as well as for the administration of the company and office management. This role crosses multiple business units. The role enquires interaction with various managers, employees and functional HR partners. The position is permanent and can evolve into a more senior role.

We are open for candidates who are looking for a full time as well as for a part time position with minimum 50%.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for HR support as per our HR Delivery Model to all business lines
  • Provide helpful and professional HR service on a range of HR issues (recruitment, relations and employment law, performance management, reward, training and development) to managers and employees
  • Mediate between managers and employees
  • Provide assistance in department objectives as needed to improve processes, encourage use of best practices and meet department goals
  • Coordinate payroll managed by external consultant
  • Ensure that hire/termination processing, payroll processing, time registration, benefits administration and recruiting support is managed at the highest professional level
  • Fully responsible for accurate execution of the HR process calendar as well as the annual country HR initiatives
  • Fully responsible for 100% accurate HRIS data for the country
  • Responsible for the administration of the company
  • Responsible for the office management

 

 

Education and Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education/experience level
  • Min. 5 years HR experience, preferably in an international organization
  • Prior experience in employee relations and performance management
  • High professional standards regarding customer service and confidentiality
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)

  

Personal characteristics:

  • A self-starter with proven ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented, creative, possess strong analytical skills and decision making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
