Do you wish to work closely with the Bureau Veritas team and clients to ensure conformity to legislative requirements for products through inspection and certification activities? Then, you should join Bureau Veritas and some of the most vital engineering professionals in the industry in this role.

Welcome to Bureau Veritas

With one of the world's strongest brands behind you, you get the opportunity to make a difference in a global and sustainable company. Bureau Veritas is Denmark's leading inspection and certification company. We carry out more than 7,500 company visits annually. We are driven to make a difference in our world, and we are looking for an Industry Inspector who is passionate about leaving your mark.

Our employees are at the center of everything we do. Therefore, we have worked hard to create a supportive and engaging work environment that is open and inclusive and allows everyone to expand their potential.

Join an industry leader

At Bureau Veritas, you will join a large international organization that strives to deliver excellence for high-profile clients, including some of the world’s most recognizable brands. This position offers the chance to participate in large, challenging, and exciting projects.

The Industry Department at Bureau Veritas is accredited to certify customers’ products and services against multiple legislative requirements and standards. This ensures uniformity and quality in the customers’ production and products. You become part of the Danish Industry team, working closely with dedicated and professional colleagues.

The role of an industry inspector

In this role, you will primarily be supporting and performing quality inspections to assess the compliance of flexible pipelines with different requirements such as standards, specifications, regulations, etc. As part of our Industry team, you can expect to be offered activities within our services panel. This requires a delf-driven and entirely focused engineering mindset to have overall responsibility and a critical eye for the inspection agenda. Moreover, with time, the aim is to have you progressively involved with project management and proposal issuance activities.

The Industry team is distributed across our offices in Denmark, but you will mainly be operating in Sjælland, primarily with our clients in Kalundborg. We are very multicultural and have various backgrounds, but what is consistent for us all is our willingness to collaborate and always learn from each other.

Due to the nature and schedule of the client, flexibility is crucial in this role. Working hours can be scheduled and placed at various times, so night and weekend inspections can occur.

What will make you successful at Bureau Veritas?

Your ideal background would be a Mechanical Engineering degree or other mechanical background mixed with technical knowledge in materials, such as steel and welding, and optimally also with notions in polymer materials. If you know NDT, this would be a benefit. Besides this, we are looking for you who have a good understanding of a project's technical and financial aspects.

As quality is one of the business’ keywords, and we are conscious about it in everything we do, it is key that you have a good sense of quality requirements, which allows for a sense of detail and a moral to deliver high-quality work.

It is essential that you are self-driven in your work, have technical curiosity and reflective abilities, and can provide clear and efficient communication in English and Danish. You are expected to have direct contact with our customers on both technical and contractual aspects.
