SUMMARY: The Quality Coordinator is a member of the quality team expected to assist in the implementation and maintenance of the quality control systems necessary to ensure that information generated by the Company is generated in accordance with business needs and the Company’s Quality Management System.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may

be assigned.

  • Fill in for Quality Manager as assigned
  • Assist in preparing laboratory for external audits
  • Maintain local laboratory internal and external audit schedule
  • Maintain document control system
  • Assist with quality related projects, as assigned
  • Provide ongoing assistance for Laboratory Employees
  • Promote continuous improvement philosophy
  • Review quality management data for effectiveness and report to management
  • Approximately 10% of travel may be required. This percentage could go higher as demand
  • Maintain PTP performance, data entry, maintain CVM (Calibration Verification Maintenance)
  • SQC charts, OOC are rechecked and / or addressed.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Step-up as required.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Two + years related experience and/or training.
  • Some college and Oil and Gas Experience is required.

  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be motivated to learn
  • Must be organized

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as methods, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, unit conversion and decimals.

 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems as they relate to quality system.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, AND REGISTRATIONS: Valid driver license required
