Over de functie:

Als Field Inspector werk je in het hart van onze operaties. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van kwaliteits- en kwantiteitscontroles op locatie in Nederland, waarbij je bijdraagt aan de organisatiedoelstellingen van Bureau Veritas Commodities. Je voert je werkzaamheden uit in lijn met:

BV Group Policies – onze internationale richtlijnen en standaarden
Code of Ethics – integriteit en professioneel gedrag
Kwaliteits- en veiligheidsmanagementsystemen – veiligheid en kwaliteit zijn prioriteit

Werkgebied

Je bent actief in het veld en werkt vanuit onze locaties in Rotterdam en Amsterdam. Je rapporteert aan de shift leader.

Je werkt in een 5-ploegensysteem met roosterwerk.

Field Inspector

Voor professionals met relevante werkervaring

Je werkt zelfstandig en hebt aangetoonde expertise in kwaliteits- en kwantiteitscontroles. Je bent een betrouwbare professional die nauwkeurig werk levert en zich aan alle richtlijnen houdt.

Vereisten:

Minimaal 2-3 jaar relevante werkervaring in inspectie of kwaliteitscontrole
VCA-certificering (geldig)
Relevante opleiding of training in vakgebied
Zelfstandig werkend vermogen
in het bezit van een geldig rijbewijs
VOG

Senior Field Inspector

Voor ervaren professionals met diepgaande kennis

Als Senior Field Inspector breng je aanzienlijke ervaring mee en ben je een expert in je vakgebied. Je werkt volledig zelfstandig, ondersteunt collega's waar nodig en draagt bij aan kwaliteitsverbetering en kennisoverdracht.

Vereisten:

Minimaal 5+ jaar relevante werkervaring in inspectie of kwaliteitscontrole
VCA-certificering (geldig) en aanvullende specialistische certificeringen
Diepgaande kennis van relevante standaarden en procedures
Proven track record van nauwkeurig en betrouwbaar werk
Bereidheid om collega's te ondersteunen en kennis over te dragen

About the Role

As a Field Inspector, you will work at the heart of our operations. You will be responsible for conducting quality and quantity inspections at various locations across the Netherlands, contributing directly to the objectives of Bureau Veritas Commodities.

You will perform your duties in accordance with:

Quality and Safety Management Systems – ensuring safety and quality remain top priorities

Work Location

You will be active in the field and operate from our offices in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. You will report to the Shift Leader.

This position operates within a 5-shift rotating roster system.

Levels and Career Path

Field Inspector

For professionals with relevant work experience

You work independently and have demonstrated expertise in quality and quantity inspections. You are a reliable professional who delivers accurate results and adheres to all procedures and standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in inspection or quality control
Valid VCA certification
Relevant education or professional training
Ability to work independently
Valid driver's license
Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)

Senior Field Inspector

For experienced professionals with in-depth industry knowledge

As a Senior Field Inspector, you bring extensive experience and are recognized as an expert in your field. You work fully independently, support colleagues where needed, and contribute to quality improvement and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in inspection or quality control
Valid VCA certification and additional specialist certifications
Thorough knowledge of relevant standards, procedures, and regulations
Proven track record of accurate and reliable performance
Willingness to support colleagues and transfer knowledge
