1. Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure that testing procedures and protocols are followed accurately and consistently.

2. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in testing methodologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices.

3. Review and approve test methods, procedures, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

4. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of test result

5. Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in testing processes.

6. Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

7. Train, and supervise technical staff, including laboratory technicians and analysts and new program client

8. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.

9. Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure the team's effectiveness and productivity.

10. Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and validation of testing equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.

11. Manage the inventory of supplies, reagents, and consumables needed for testing operations.

12. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and resources to enhance the lab's capabilities and efficiency.

13. Interact with GTS and clients to understand their testing requirements, provide technical expertise, and address any concerns or inquiries.

14. Ensure that the testing lab operates in compliance with relevant regulatory standards, such as ISO/IEC 17025

15. Coordinate with regulatory agencies for inspections, audits, and accreditation processes to maintain the lab's certification and accreditation status.

16. Implement and monitor quality management systems to meet regulatory requirements and uphold the lab's reputation for quality and reliability.

17. Identify potential risks and hazards in testing processes, equipment, or procedures, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks.

18. Establish contingency plans and protocols for handling emergencies, equipment failures, or other unexpected events that may impact testing operations.

19. Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses to address issues and prevent recurrence.
