Key Responsibilities
· Perform inspections on pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping systems, heat exchangers, valves, and structural components.
· Carry out statutory inspections according to regulatory/international requirements
· Execute RBI, API, and preventive maintenance inspection programs.
· Identify corrosion, erosion, cracking, deformation, and other degradation mechanisms.
· Review and interpret NDT results (UT, PT, MT, VT, RT, ECT, PAUT, TOFD).
· Witness and validate repairs, NDT, and pressure tests.
· Prepare clear and detailed inspection reports with findings and recommendations.
· Update inspection data on Asset Integrity Management Systems.
· Review P&IDs, isometrics, engineering drawings, and material certificates.
· Ensure compliance with API/ASME standards and local regulations.
· Participate in shutdown/turnaround inspections.
· Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and job safety analyses.
· Follow all HSE policies, PTW systems, and confined space safety requirements.
Qualifications
· Diploma, HND, or Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related engineering fields.
· API certifications: API 510, API 570, API 653 (preferred).
· Level II in NDT techniques such as VT, UT, MT, PT and other advanced (preferred).
· Understanding of corrosion mechanisms and inspection planning.
· 5- 8 years’ experience in plant inspection or asset integrity in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power industries.
· Turnaround/shutdown inspection experience is an advantage.
· Familiarity with RBI programs and inspections.
Skills:
· Ability to interpret inspection codes and standards.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent reporting and documentation abilities.
