| • To be available at the Township building when necessary to speak with Township residents, STR owners, by appointment. • To provide and perform investigations in accordance with Township ordinances and take enforcement action, when required, as well as preparing and presenting investigations for prosecution, when necessary. • To make and receive phone calls regarding STR inquiries and/or complaints. All calls shall be returned within 48 hours. • To provide electronic communication while in the field. • To generate electronic investigation reports and submitting the reports to the Township after each investigation. Verbal investigation updates may also be requested. • To be available and perform after-hours investigations as requested. • To be available at such reasonable times as may be necessary for appearances as an affiant or witness or to authenticate reports or review investigations before the District Justice having jurisdiction, or before the County Court of Common Pleas or federal judicial bodies having jurisdiction over the Township. • To meet with the Township Zoning Officer from time to time to discuss policy and code interpretations. • To attend meetings with the BOS, staff or associated committees when requested. • Expertise in Business English. • Follow verbal and written instructions • Communicate effectively orally and in writing • Understanding the requirements of all laws, including the Sunshine Law and Right to Know Act,. • Ability to operate machines and personal computer; • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, permits, and other necessary programs. • Maintains customer-based attitude, keeping in mind the best interest of the residents • Ability to maintain close working relationship with office staff and other departments • Attention to detail, and ability to maintain complete confidentiality. • Ability to work independently with self-directed priorities as well as in a group setting • Operates in efficient and organized manner with strong work ethic and initiative / follow through. • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills |
