Areas of Responsibility

 

  1. Deliver, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Net Revenue and Gross Margin targets of the business unit.
  2. Participate in identification of new business opportunities and prepare business proposals and negotiation of contracts.
  3. Focus on business development, increase market and brand visibility. To further expand the market share to widen business opportunities from small to big corporate clients.
  4. Arrange client appointments and Perform sales presentation to clients related to the company products and services.
  5. Direct reporting to the General Manager and in communication with Regional Business Development manager.
  6. Builds market position by identifying, locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  7. Identifying customer needs. Handles customer inquiries received via email, phone, social media and prepares quotations and proposals for each opportunity.  Able to efficiently and effectively coordinate queries and resolve complaints.
  8. Sales opportunity/activity execution and progress update through Salesforce. Utilise CRM - Salesforce to record all interaction with the customer and ensure integrity of customer information.
  9. Understanding of BVAQ products and services. Using these skills in closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  10. Establish networks with key customers and potential customers. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  11. Ensure that BVAQ SEA is recognised as the industry leader in service and performance.
  12. Keep the Business Groups informed and aligned with all significant activities and initiatives.
  13. Execution of annual sales plan in line with company strategic plan and budget.
  14. Maintain information on competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, policies, pricing, services, etc. to increase likelihood of winning bid situations.

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in food science / technology / engineering, Business Administration or other relevant science subjects include medical science, nutrition, microbiology and applied chemistry/biochemistry.
  2. Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in Sales or related fields.
  3. Working knowledge of food testing laboratories through previous work and/or sales experience is an advantage.
  4. Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and experience of the food testing, food safety and/or food production industries to expand BVAQ sale revenue.
