  • Evaluate electrical equipment and systems for condition, safety, maintenance requirements, operational concerns, and compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
  • Identify and document electrical deficiencies, hazards, equipment conditions, maintenance concerns, and other findings observed during field assessments.
  • Work safely around electrical equipment and systems while following LOTO procedures, approach boundaries, PPE requirements, energized electrical work practices, and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Review electrical equipment, distribution systems, panels, switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, disconnects, motors, and related industrial electrical infrastructure.
  • Perform functional testing and observation of electrical and industrial equipment where required by the project scope and within applicable safety requirements.
  • Accurately document field conditions through written notes, photographs, equipment schedules, drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Support the evaluation of industrial maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and facility operations as part of broader assessment assignments.
  • Assess material handling and conveyance systems, including equipment condition, installation, operation, and alignment with available drawings, specifications, operational requirements, and applicable standards.
  • Evaluate mechanical, controls, plumbing, and other industrial facility systems when included within the project scope.
  • Identify interactions between electrical, mechanical, controls, and material handling systems that may affect equipment performance, reliability, safety, or maintenance.
  • Prepare clear and technically accurate field documentation and assessment findings.
  • Exercise independent judgment in evaluating field conditions and determining appropriate technical observations and recommendations.
  • Maintain a Safety-First mindset and comply with all OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, site-specific safety requirements, PPE requirements, and applicable electrical safety standards.
