Job Summary:
Responsible for operational excellence and execution. Owns the assessment process for evaluating employee skills, capabilities, and capacity to meet client requirements in a cost-effective manner. This role involves leading, planning, and reporting on key initiatives that support Bureau Veritas' strategic and operational objectives. This role exercises a high degree of independent judgment and decision-making authority to ensure operational excellence and successful execution of critical business functions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technical project coordinators and support staff responsible for project staging, data quality assurance, operations, and general technical project support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and provide support to field execution teams.
- Communicate project updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and monitor project milestones, providing regular status reports.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and assess project execution regularly to identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and transparent working environment.
- Document standard operating procedures for the Project Coordination team and ensure industry standards are met.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and proactive solutions to clients' needs, while protecting company information and following policies and procedures.
- Provide advanced project/program data analysis to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with leaders to develop action plans for program risks and opportunities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Forecast project/client needs and navigate accordingly, supporting the project manager in executing complex programs.
- Manage internal and external portals for key program milestones reporting, and maintain utilization and billability targets.
- Create custom report templates, prepare client presentations, summaries, and graphics.
- Assist with final report issuance and processing, including database set up and quality assurance.
- Supervise employees on the development team, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Provides strategic leadership and oversight to the team, including training, cross-resourcing, and optimizing business operations.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, clearly and concisely engaging with all stakeholders.
- Manages and develops the department's staff, leveraging coaching and mentorship to drive performance.
- Analyzes operational data to identify and implement efficiency-enhancing technological solutions.
- Designs, implements, and executes high-level organizational and operational initiatives.
- Maintains transparent and proactive communication with management and staff on critical operational matters.
- Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
- Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs.
- Demonstrates BV’s guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
- Follows all documented policies, standard operating procedures, and work Instructions applicable to the position and support of BV's quality standards and strategic initiatives.
- Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises employees in a direct reporting relationship. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

- Technology Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in operating a computer, having knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and project management software.

Education, Certifications & Experience
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field; minimum of four years of related experience. In lieu of degree, six years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical & Environmental Conditions:
While performing the office/offsite duties of this job, the employee is required to:
- Operate a computer (up to 100% of workweek)
- Regularly required to use hands.

Travel Requirements:
Travel by Plane, Motor Vehicle, Train to client/project sites across the U.S up to 10% of the time.
