Join us as an Energy Transition Manager – Maritime in our offices in Saint-Herblain (France).

Join a dynamic team : Within the META (Maritime Energy Transition Advisory) team, you will join a multidisciplinary and internationally oriented group of engineers.

You will contribute to developing the company’s expertise and capabilities in line with market needs, while delivering high-value studies on energy transition and vessel efficiency to support shipowners in decarbonizing their fleets.

Your main responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a team of 4 engineers and project managers, providing strong technical guidance and operational expertise
• Contribute to consulting studies related to maritime decarbonization (including green financing and fleet emission reduction strategies)
• Supervise vessel energy modeling studies and onboard data analysis
• Participate in business development activities, including prospecting and proposal writing
• Lead and oversee the team’s R&D projects
• You will work closely with clients and partners and play a key role in improving the energy performance of vessels.

Your profile :

• Education & experience:

Engineering degree from a top-tier school with a specialization in Naval Architecture, or a degree from ENSM in Maritime Engineering

Minimum of 7 years of experience in these fields, ideally within a consulting firm or engineering company

Mandatory experience in the maritime sector

Initial experience in team management

• Technical skills:

Energy systems modeling

Strong knowledge of maritime decarbonization

Expertise in vessel performance and weather routing

• Personal skills:

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development

Pedagogical mindset, clarity, and rigor

Communication & languages:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Fluent in both French and English, able to interact with clients and international teams
