Measurement Supervisor - Shreveport, LA

 

The Measurement Supervisor will manage a team of technicians to ensure fair and accurate custody transfer of volume and energy measurements. The Measurement Supervisor will monitor and ensure system balances remain within industry and company thresholds for accurate financial settlement. The Measurement Supervisor will also work to develop the team's skills, knowledge, and understanding of overall measurement systems and interrelated departments. The focus of the role is to ensure all initiatives and tasks drive the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and maintains a culture of safe, reliant, and compliant operations.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulations including site measurement standards/procedures, company standards/procedures including all safety, health and environmental requirements as well as all Federal, State, and local regulations.
  • Develops and sustains culture of high performance and accountability by setting expectations, organizing, planning, and leading team activities.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities for personal and team development to meet business and career objectives.
  • Responsible to review System balances to provide accurate and effective data for the accounting groups to utilize in their processes and resolve any issues.

  • Organizes and communicates daily work assignments and area requirements to include setting daily work schedules and routing to ensure the most efficient and economical dispatch of team.
  • Oversees the maintenance and calibration of the company’s measurement assets in the area.
  • Maintains proactive, professional, and effective field level customer relationships.
  • Establishes and communicates clear expectations for organizational behavior and manages performance of team members through coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback.
  • Assists with development and adherence to the measurement budget.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License.
  • Three (3) years Measurement experience required.
  • Oil and gas industry experience required; midstream preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
