Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that both Employers Information Requirements (EIR), Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) are implemented on site.
- Responsible for ensuring the capability of Contractors & sub-contractor BIM team are within the EIR documents & to the BEP
- Responsible for ensuring that all related infrastructure and facilities are coordinated in BIM Model before commencement of actual works on Site.
- Responsible for ensuring that all Shop Drawings/Construction drawings are coordinated & updated in BIM Models before commencement of actual works on Site.
- Work with the project team to review BIM models and relevant deliverables submitted by contractors.
- Work with various stakeholders and project team to identify and resolve technical issues submitted by contractors.
- Report and present progress and status with regards to BIM implementation and BIM related submission by the Contractor.
- Regular meetings with client's BIM team and other stakeholders to share knowledge, recent experiences, ideas and mitigate risks so as to best serve the wider groups and future projects.
- Report any progress and highlight risks in the BIM process to the Employer and other BIM stakeholders.
- Responsible for facilitating and chairing BIM workshops and meetings.
- Report progress and status of model updates to client's BIM team at the end of each month.
- Responsible for ensuring that all related infrastructure and facilities are provided with asset data requirements that support the FM & O&M digital handover.
- Responsible for ensuring that all related infrastructure and facilities are provided with an accurate as-built models.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by client.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, highly proficient in the use of BIM software and in establishing required processes and procedures and framework for BIM in projects.
- Familiar with various aspects of engineering e.g. Civil, Structural, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical.
- Possess a Degree in Engineering / Architecture or equivalent.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently, a strong team player and able to handle fast-paced projects.
- Possess good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders across all levels and have good presentation skills.
- Shall be continuously under employment under any Consultant/Contractor for a minimum of 5 years and have successfully instituted a BIM Company Deployment Plan as well as implemented Project BIM Execution Plan for at least 2 projects.
- Completed a certification course in BIM Management
