Electrical Design Review Engineer

Functional Competencies:

1. Perform review of marine and offshore units or vessels electrical system and equipment designs according to applicable classification and statutory/ flag rules.
2. Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure contract requirements are met.
3. Support and provide technical advice to clients.
4. Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required.
5. Support Equipment & Material Certification team and Consultancy Services team in drawing review, inspection or consultancy work, as and when required.
6. Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in Performance Management Process.
7. Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.

Requirements:

1. Degree qualified in Electrical engineering or equivalent with minimum 3 years relevant working experience on Marine and Offshore related field.
2. Familiarity with classification society rules , international and National regulations (SOLAS/Flag Rules)
