Job Responsibilities:
- Initiate Lead and coordinate meetings with Project/Plant Changes various stakeholders to ensure all the scopes are developed, detailed engineering design, or detail components and systems are designed according to relevant design engineering codes and standards including any specified specifications.
- Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for Electrical & Instrumentation works, selecting the appropriate electrical and instrument components related to Plants’ modification for the Plant Change Requests using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD) and SPI Intools.
- Develop and update specific issued for approval (IFA), issued for construction (IFC ) instructions and comments onto IFA/IFC drawings
- Assist Design Office Lead to verify and update existing as built drawings as per request and ensuring no discrepancies on the site or Plants’ condition versus as built master copy drawings or documentation
- Executing quality checks on the project data and liaise with external engineering contractors to provide comments before updating or merging into existing site database eg SPI Intools.
- Assist Design Office Lead to maintain the site tag numbers listing database to enable the correct issuance of new tag numbers related to electrical, instrumentation and process control disciplines
- Manage SPI templates and database.
- Update and maintain Electrical documents such as Single Line Drawings, datasheet, system studies, load list, switchboard GA drawing, cables schedule etc.
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation design, plant modifications, or related engineering projects.
- Basic knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and specifications for electrical and instrumentation works.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and SPI tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including external stakeholders.
- This is a contract position.
