QUALITY

• To develop inspection and testing SOP and reporting templates associated with lifts and escalators
• Safety management of jobs at work sites
• To ensure all installed and inspected lifts and escalators comply with Code of Practice
• To manage inspection team’s qualification per BCA’s requirement and adhering to ISO17020 accreditation
• To ensure inspection and testing tools are well maintained and calibrated

OPERATIONS

• To oversee the inspection, examination, and testing of lifts and escalators for the application or renewal of a PTO
• To conduct statutory examination, inspection and testing of lifts and escalators in accordance with regulations and codes of practice according to schedule and submit prescribed reports and follow up on rectifications by owners/contractors
• To conduct non-statutory lifts and escalators audits
• To conduct investigations of lifts and escalators incidents
• To develop project planning, manage project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget and project meetings
• To coordinate with other departments/divisions in the delivery of equipment, arranging manpower, checking of site work and building construction program
• Discuss new lifts and escalators design and layout with architect, consultant, main contractor, client and builder
• Advise the consultants on compliance for the code of practice for the installation works
• Expansion and qualification of inspection team to meet growing demands

SALES

• Work closely with Sales Manager in identifying potential L&E clients and managing the business operations, including tender of new projects as well as all authorities related matters
• Advise Sales Manager of any variation works and cost implications
