Offshore Business Manager

The role contributes to the development and growth for Singapore Offshore Business and has goal to attract new clients and retain/grow an existing portfolio. The incumbent will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develops offer and quotation and maintains a strong relationship with a network of clients and partners
Functional Competencies:
- Assist Commercial Director in the development and execution of the Offshore strategy, including matters related to market access, market share, participation in tenders and projects and local capability build-up.
- Engage with Zone and Global Offshore teams to bring support to the local business development initiatives.
- Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, analyse clients’ needs, propose solutions and ensure clients’ requests / queries are addressed.
- Develop relationship with clients, industry partners and prospects (i.e. Offshore fabrication / conversion yards, EPCI companies, offshore asset owners, oil companies, consultants and designers, etc.) to harness market intelligence.
- Manage key accounts and maintain constant engagement with clients through formulating strategies and action plans to manage different tiers of clients and ensure constant engagement.
- Maintain customer database and update commercial log, salesforce and sales tools.
- Identify, monitor and lead the pursuit and contracting of large Offshore business opportunities.
- Write and deliver presentations to clients and technical seminars, as required.
- Secure effective cooperation between Industry & Facilities and Marine & Offshore divisions, through combined sales and key account management.
- Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Marine Engineering or equivalent with minimum 10 years working experience in Marine and Offshore related industry, of which 2 years in commercial capacity.
- Possess good communication, networking and influencing skills.
- Enjoys meeting people and has good interpersonal skills.
- Resilient and motivated.
