Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate release of resources from other projects to deliver priority service to these 2 Strategic accounts (identified as ‘Must-Delivers’ for BV)
  • Establish and maintain communications with client, inspector, manufactures and BV office world while where applicable
  • Responsible to take input from the business analysts to develop and maintain the detailed schedule and cost/profit of the project.
  • Ensure projects/assignments are scheduled based on Inspections Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Plan (QP).This also has to be informed to the parties involved in the project (Client, Manufactures, inspector engineers)
  • Compile document package for the equipment to inspect in the assignment, e.g. Inspection test plan (ITP),Quality plan (QP), Drawings and test certificates.
  • Prepare documentation package for allocated inspector engineers ensuring that all instructions are clear and correct to execute the visits.
  • Establish, co-ordinate and communicate technical work scope of inspection requests to the Inspector Engineers, Manufacturers and Clients.
  • Liaise and submit assignment costs to External/Internal clients. The costs should indicate all the information of expenses required to cover the inspection visits. The Inspector engineers should also be informed of the limitations in the cost of the assignment.
  • Maintain up to date all the information related to the assignment into the operational system of the company (Siebel) due to this information is also feeding the client with the status of the project.
  • Ensure that all the invoices to clients have the cost estimated at the beginning of the project.
  • Act as client focal point; ensure there are regular meetings with external clients for constant feedback of the operation.
  • Represent and present proposals to Accounts for additional services and operational improvements at monthly and quarterly meetings as agreed with the client.
  • Responsible to control all documentation of each assignment.
  • Effective communication with team members in/out of office, manufactures and clients
  • Professional and responsive approach towards clients and Network.
  • Co-operation and flexibility of providing additional operational support and towards the development of the team
  • Build strong interpersonal relationship with Clients and source repeat business opportunities with periodic F2F engagement where practical
  • Identify and report opportunities for operational and business improvements
  • Responsible for the financial cost and profit of the assignments (approval of Subcontracts cost IAS, Clients invoices for timely payment)
  • Develop relationship with Key client contacts to extrapolate additional business opportunity for own Business Unit and or other divisions within Bureau Veritas

 

Requirement

  • Degree holder in Business management or Technical or Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years related experience as a project coordinator
  • Responsible to deliver visits of assignments/projects within managing 2nd party inspections and relationships between clients, inspector Engineers, manufacturers and BV network as per contractual obligations, focusing on both Network Performing Office operations and local external Contracts (Contracting office).
  • Responsible to follow up any changes or Non-conformities of the assignment, these changes should be informed to site based schedule office as agreed with engineering and project management Coordinator reports with a solid line into the country Operations Manager.
  • He/She will be actively involved in supporting best practice operations to achieve growth in line with plans to achieve BV’s ambitions on a strategic, tactical and operational level. Coordinator performs the job within the framework of the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to adapt and respond new process or system
  • Work requires local and overseas travel and may require evening and weekend work.
  • Work requires willingness to work at flexible schedule.
