Qualified Person (Supervision and Geotechnical)

Job Responsibilities:
Supervision and Compliance:
- Oversee and supervise all civil engineering, tunneling, and geotechnical works related to the project.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality and safety of construction activities.
Project Leadership:
- Act as the Qualified Person (Supervision) or Qualified Person (Geotechnical) for the project as required.
- Provide expert guidance on technical and regulatory matters.
- Address and resolve issues related to civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering during construction.
Design and Risk Management:
- Review and approve construction methodologies and geotechnical design proposals.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures for project-related challenges.
- Support the preparation and review of engineering reports and technical documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Participate in progress meetings and provide updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
Requirements for QP (Supervision):
- Hold a valid practicing certificate in Civil Engineering issued by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience supervising civil engineering and tunneling works of a similar nature and complexity.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Professional Engineer involved in projects similar to the Civil Contract.
Requirements for QP (Geotechnical):
- Hold a valid practicing certificate as a specialist Professional Engineer in Geotechnical Engineering issued by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Professional Engineer specializing in the supervision of geotechnical aspects of projects similar to the Civil Contract.
