Quality Assurance Executive

  • Perform rigorous quality checks and controls to ensure food products are safe and compliant with health standards.
  • Test food samples in Chemistry and Microbiology.
  • Work closely with other team members and suppliers, including QA, FoodTech, Engineers, and relevant teams, to enhance product quality and safety.
  • Conduct sampling, food audits/inspections at suppliers’ sites according to company guidelines/checklists.
  • Prepare reports and follow up on action plans from audits or inspections.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and scientific advancements in food technology and nutrition.
  • Evaluate and verify product compliance against set specifications, including nutritional, appearance, taste, texture, odor, and color standards.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Description:

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or Food Nutrition.
  • A good understanding of food/laboratory testing, including Chemistry and Microbiology.
  • Knowledge of Halal, Kosher, HACCP, FSSC, ISO procedures will be an advantage.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in relevant fields.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams, vendors, and potentially clients. 

 

Other information: 

  • This position is for a 1-year contract subject to renewal
  • Working hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Joo Koon Circle, Singapore

 

  • A bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or Food Nutrition.
  • A good understanding of food/laboratory testing, including Chemistry and Microbiology.
  • Knowledge of Halal, Kosher, HACCP, FSSC, ISO procedures will be an advantage.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in relevant fields.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams, vendors, and potentially clients. Being bilingual in Chinese will be a great advantage.
