Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Maintain and regularly update the Risk Breakdown Structure (RBS), risk rating matrix, thresholds, and key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Organize and lead risk workshops, discussions, and meetings at appropriate times to address project risks.
  • Develop and monitor key risk indicators to assess the effectiveness of controls and evaluate the overall risk profile.
  • Provide timely and comprehensive risk reports to relevant client representatives.
  • Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and management workshops/sessions with all relevant stakeholders to prepare risk reports.
  • Collate, prepare, and submit risk management plans and reports for review and implementation.
  • Monitor risk registers and reports to ensure all identified risks are mitigated and closed within set deadlines.
  • Deliver regular client presentations to communicate the status of project risks and progress.
  • Advise contractors on potential project risks and recommend mitigation solutions to prevent issues.
  • Provide expert support to contractors during meetings with the employer to address risk-related concerns.
  • Organize monthly risk meetings with employers and contractors, including pre-meetings to review submitted risk reports and presentation slides.
  • Execute the Risk Management Plan as approved by the Superintending Officer (SO).


Job Requirements:
 

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably with some design experience.
