Job Summary:
The Market Leader Precious Metals & Key Accounts Manager, Metals & Minerals BVNAM reports to the Sr. Director Metals and Minerals and will have responsibility for direct sales and business development activities for Precious Metals Representation and Analytical Services in targeted markets across North America (US & Canada). The successful candidate will have a proven record of business development success within Precious Metals Refining Services including Catalysts (Reforming, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, & Automotive), Dore, Electronics, Jewelry Scrap and Manufacturing Sweeps. Location flexible within United States; preferable based in New York/New Jersey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate annual revenue growth through leading direct sales activities including opportunity identification, pipeline management, evaluation, negotiations and deal execution.
• Play the lead role during negotiation and establishing legal requirements for contracts.
• Manage the proposal processes including evaluating and screening RFP/RFQs and leads for feasibility and profitability.
• Develop and manage strategic client relationships to support client retention and market expansion goals.
• Work closely with Field Operations and Reno Laboratory to manage new account expectations and service requirements.
• Aggressively network with Bureau Veritas businesses to develop cross-selling opportunities.
• Represent Bureau Veritas at Conferences, Seminars, and Industry functions to network and generate leads.
• Maintain CRM for regular updates to management of Sales Pipeline.
• Develop and execute on Local and Global Key Account Management (LKAM/GKAM) plan across North American Minerals business.
• Assist in cross selling initiatives in line with LEAP28 with LKAM/GKAM selected.
• Consistent review of business performance for KAM’s as well as identifying opportunities to maximize sales pipeline across BV network.
• Responsible for increasing footprint and sales with KAM’s across BV North America services.

Education, Certifications, and Experience (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering, or 5 to 10 years proven business to business sales and business development experience in Precious Metals Refining Services.
• Knowledge of Metals Recycling Lifecycle: Primary Mining, Manufacturing, Scrap Collection, Refining.
• Experience in selling Representation and Analysis

Travel Requirements
• Travel across North America for Sales Calls and Account Maintenance.
• Travel 30-40% within US and Canada.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
