Job Title: Civil Inspector
Roles & Responsibilities • Attendance to Company witness & hold points on Contractors ITP
• Conduct surveillance assessments of contractor’s adherence to contractual requirements of civil activities at construction site
• Verify that construction materials used complies with contract requirements
• Verify that the excavation, backfilling, compaction, surveys and other earthwork activities etc. complies with relevant approved Inspection and Test Plans, codes and standards and contractual agreements
• Verify that all aspects of concrete and grout preparation, mixing, pre-pour inspections, pouring and testing are completed etc complies with relevant approved Inspection and Test Plans, codes and standards and contractual agreements
• Sign off civil/concrete inspection test records, contractors ITP and adherence to contractors Quality Plan 7.0 Weekly/Monthly Deliverables
• Maintain daily log of inspection activities
• Produce relevant field quality control (QC) inspection reports
• Provide quality metrics and input to weekly quality report to client Quality Lead & Quality Manager JOB DESCRIPTION QUALITY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT JOB DESCRIPTION FORM 8.0 Required Qualifications
• Ten (10) years plus experience in capital construction projects in the oil/gas industry.
• Demonstrable competency and understanding of civil (earthwork and concrete) construction methods
• Working understanding of project execution, construction and completion practices
• Demonstrated ability to work in a project environment and function as a team player
• Demonstrated acceptable interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, etc.
• Read, write and speak fluent English
