Position Overview

Bureau Veritas seeks an experienced Senior Geodetic Engineer to lead geodetic surveying and positioning projects across infrastructure and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee geodetic surveys, GPS/GNSS operations, and control networks
Lead survey teams and manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects
Ensure compliance with geodetic standards (ISO 19100 series)
Prepare technical reports and project deliverables
Mentor junior engineers and serve as primary client contact
Advise on geodetic methodologies and best practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geodesy, Surveying, or Civil Engineering
Licensed Geodetic Engineer (PE/PLS) or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of professional geodetic engineering experience
Proficiency with survey equipment (GPS/GNSS, total stations, laser scanning)
Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, datums, and spatial reference frameworks
Experience with geodetic software (Trimble, Leica, ArcGIS)
Excellent project management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

LiDAR and photogrammetry experience
Infrastructure or construction surveying background
BIM workflow familiarity
International project experience
