Bureau Veritas, Namibia is looking for 1 QA QC Senior Inspector for the Industry division. This position is based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.

• LEEA Lifting Equipment qualification
• 5-10 Years’ experience of lifting equipment
• Awareness of the Oil and Gas Industry safety & Quality policies
• Awareness of Mine Health and Safety act
• Quality focus with attention to detail
• Oil and Gas Environmental background
• Strong numerical skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure the accuracy and quality of inspections including:

•    o Calculations
•        o Reporting
•    o Data entry

• Keeping raw data/records
• Carry out tasks to maximize daily efficiencies & according to priorities assigned by Country Chief Executive.
• Highlighting abnormalities in results to the client.
• Adhering to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality policies and instructions.
• To always maintain customer confidentiality.
• Verify the operations of equipment as required by the client.
• The effective delivery of project management and overall CAPEX & OPEX inspection services, including audits, technical assessment, HSE IND activities in the Industry Group.
• Encompass procedures, methods and process, tools and equipment, as well as planning and coordination of resources, financial monitoring, project’s scope creeping, safe performance of services, to ensure profitable and efficient organization’s project execution
• Responsible for the safe delivery of the above, ensure the profitable and efficient execution of the inspection activities in compliance with TQR-QHSSE Group Policies.
