Job Summary
This position will primarily support airport retail and food & beverage concession projects, including store refreshes, remodels, tenant improvements, brand rollouts, and new store buildouts within active airport environments. The Project Manager will coordinate with airport authorities, concession operators, landlords, designers, contractors, and client stakeholders to deliver projects while minimizing disruption to ongoing airport operations.
This position will focus on retail projects within airports. The position must be local to West Palm Beach, FL.
Division Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the overall direction, execution, and financial performance of airport retail and food & beverage construction projects, including store refreshes, remodels, tenant improvements, brand conversions, and new concession buildouts.
- Manage projects from inception through closeout, including design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, store turnover, and project closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, airport authorities, concession operators, architects, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Manage airport-specific project requirements including security protocols, badging, access restrictions, operational constraints, landlord approvals, and after-hours construction schedules.
- Lead construction activities within active airport terminals while minimizing disruption to airport operations, travelers, and concession tenants.
- Direct consultants, contractors, vendors, and specialty trades to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client standards.
- Coordinate branded retail and food service rollouts, ensuring compliance with design standards, operational requirements, and opening schedules.
- Oversee contract administration, budgets, forecasts, schedules, change orders, and project reporting.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations across multiple projects and locations simultaneously.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Monitor project milestones and provide regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Review construction documents, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain working knowledge of airport concession development practices, tenant improvement construction, retail rollout programs, and applicable building codes and regulations.
- Travel as required to project sites throughout the United States (up to 50%–90% based on project needs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Deliver exceptional client service through proactive communication, responsiveness, and successful project outcomes.
- Comply with all company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field; minimum of three years of related experience. In lieu of degree, five years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience managing retail, restaurant, airport concession, hospitality, travel retail, tenant improvement, or multi-site renovation projects.
- Experience coordinating projects within operational facilities such as airports, retail centers, hospitals, hospitality venues, transportation hubs, or other occupied environments is highly desirable.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record).
- PMP Strongly preferred

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to operate an electronic tablet in the field for live data collection.

Physical and Environmental Conditions
While performing the onsite/field duties, the employee is required to:

- Onsite visits can occur up to one continuous week at a time. As a general expectation, for approximately 2 to 3 days of the workweek, travel and onsite work is anticipated and expected. Overnight stays away from home may be required.
- Work Environment: The employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical components and assemblies, frequently exposed to work near energized electrical components and assemblies. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, inclement weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level at the project site is usually moderate.
